A dynamic NP or PA is needed for a large private, upscale urology practice specializing in male sexual dysfunction and male infertility. The practice specializes in a multi-disciplinary approach to treating men. As part of the team, the candidate will perform physical exams and procedures, develop treatment plans, provide patient education, and research the literature for the latest evidence-based techniques.
Candidate must be willing to work a minimum of two days a week including one evening and must be available to commute to both our Manhattan and Purchase offices. (Our Manhattan office is two blocks from Grand Central Terminal.)

Patient Care Coordinator
Maze Health is looking for a Patient Care Coordinators to join an energetic team dedicated to patient care. Our administrative staff are just as integral to our success as our practitioners. Ideal candidate for the position is an individual with exceptional customer and patient care skills, strong organizational skills, detail-oriented interested in a long-term position with potential for growth.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients.
• Answer phones.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Complete new patient registration and data entry.
• Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements and payment responsibilities.
• Collect patient balances (deductible/coinsurance).
• Perform standard day-to-day clinical administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• Possess strong organizational skills.
• Be punctual, dependable and reliable.
• Be able to efficiently multi-task.
• Possess basic math skills; must be able to use standard office equipment.
• Able to work in our NYC and Westchester offices.
• Must be able to effectively use computer programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).

Billing Specialist
Busy, upscale Westchester practice is looking for a f/t medical biller. Responsibilities will include entering charges and EOB’s, coordinating appeals, working with collection offices, speaking with patients, and writing appeal letters. The right candidate will have significant experience and understanding of medical billing, as well as a cheerful, can-do attitude. You must be comfortable talking to patients both on the phone and in person and have the flexibility to help in the office wherever necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility.
• Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies.
• Issue and post bills, receipts, and invoices.
• Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments.
• Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines.
• Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients.
• Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.
• Work with patients to develop self-pay arrangements and payment plans.
• Enter charges accurately and expeditiously to ensure proper records handling and fast payment responses.
• Post payments in a timely manner.
• Initiate private pay collections after insurance cancellation, denial or other issue.
• Research and resolve client billing problems or issues.
• Document payment records and issues as they occur.
• Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe.
• Checking each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount.
• Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary.
• Researching and appealing denied claims.
• Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.
• Setting up patient payment plans and work collection accounts.
• Collects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients;
• monitoring payments; following up with patients when payment lapses occur.
Qualifications:
• Medical billing knowledge or background a plus.
